Students are grouped typically by chronological age range; we do consider that some students do struggle developmentally, and therefore they may be placed in a class more suited to their needs.

Basic skills and hometime reflection allow students to have time with their form teachers and provides them with a ‘book ending’ approach to the day.

Lessons at Discovery are 45 minutes in length, with some lessons being combined due to their practical nature, such as PE, DT and Food Technology.
